Costa Rica Talk is a blog made by locals with experience in tourism, who love to share their experiences and love to help others to plan their dream vacation to Costa Rica.

Since our first blog was published in April 2018, we work every day on inspiring you to travel to Costa Rica.

We are currently 25 Bloggers from different countries who live in Costa Rica. We love to travel and want to share our experiences and stories with you. Our blogs are written in Spanish, English and German.

We are passionate to share with you what we love the most: COSTA RICA!

Costa Rica is a country for everyone. If you like to hike through nature in national parks and watch the uncountable animals, or relax under a palm tree taking the sun in one of its beaches, this is the destination you are looking for!

There are also many stunning volcanoes like the Arenal, Irazú, Poás, Rincón de la Vieja, Turrialba and many more.

Action like rafting at the Pacuare River, Ziplining in the rain or cloud forest, and climbing at waterfalls are just some of the many action activities and things to do in Costa Rica.

If you want to relax after a long day of adventure and exploring, you can enjoy the natural hot springs for example at La Fortuna or Rincón de la Vieja, or if you are looking for a beach vacation: how sounds driving with a catamaran admiring the magical sunset?

Due to its unique location at the middle of Central America, Costa Rica has two beautiful coasts, the Pacific Coast and the Caribbean Coast, with many different beautiful beaches, with dark or white sand, with crystal clear water for snorkeling or the perfect waves for surfing! But what we love the most, is that there are no high hotel buildings in the back, just the palm trees that separate the tropical forests from the coast line.

The many different National Parks are something unique for Costa Rica, since the country protects a big part of the nature and animals with the National Parks and Reserves, which covers about 25 % of the territory of the country. At our E-book “National Parks“ you can read valuable information about these parks and what you can do there. You can download our E-Book here.

Besides Nature and Wildlife, Costa Rica has not just a very interesting culture, but also a very delicious gastronomy. At our blogs, we tell you everything you need to know and which traditional dishes you should definitely try when you visit Costa Rica!

Also we like to give you some useful tips for example about the currency, safety, the best time to travel and other things that you should know when you are planning a vacation to Costa Rica, and lists of things you should do or pack for your trip.

Besides the nature indigenous people and cultural activities in the country and the gastronomy, the most inspiring thing is the relaxed Pura Vida lifestyle of the Ticos. Pura Vida is not just used as a phrase, but as a way of life and literally means “pure life“, which you will feel when meeting the warm-hearted and very guest- friendly Ticos.

In our blog, you can find sample itineraries to the most beautiful hot spots of the country taking into consideration different activities in different tourist areas, to help you plan your trip according to the number of nights you plan to stay in the country.
